      <title>Sociologie et ethnoscénologie </title>
      <link>https://revues.mshparisnord.fr/ethnographie/index.php?id=924</link>
Being a phd sociologist, ethnoscenologist, I have been asked to epistemologically explain the relationship between sociology and ethnoscenology. This is not obvious, since while ethnoscenology declares itself to be interdisciplinary from the start, sociology has been asserting itself as a discipline for more than a century. I started from the respective paths of two men who actively participated in the first symposium of ethnoscenology in 1995: Jean Duvignaud, and Armindo Bião. Both graduates of a phd in sociology, after having followed others training courses before, they had already included their epistemology as teacher-researchers in a range of tools and approaches much broader than sociology, as practitioners and estheticians of the arts in particular, and if their profile was atypical within the community of sociologist, many affinities brought them together, and allowed a family of spirits with Jean-Marie Pradier, psychologist co-founder of ethnoscenology. I humbly subscribe to their lineage. It is therefore through a brief genealogy that I am attempting here to account for their contributions, trying to highlight the ways of thinking of which they were pionners, and which nourished the foundations of ethnoscenology. </description>
