      <link>https://revues.mshparisnord.fr/ethnographie/index.php?id=1172</link>
The purpose of this article is to study the bodies in vocational training in art crafts. Based on observations and interviews conducted with craftsmen, supplemented by an experimental device that &quot;makes mimic&quot; the gestures of the trade, the research proposes to observe the bodies in training in order to identify the bodily elements contained in a situation of craft transmission and to question the issues of professional socialization. This cross-referenced data highlights the relationship between arts and crafts training encountered, between the transmission of technical gestures and the physical modelling of the body in the arts and crafts training courses encountered. Particular attention is paid to the role of the trainer, which is not limited to the transmission of know-how but extends to the formation of a body capable of integrating the group of craftsmen. </description>
