      <link>http://revues.mshparisnord.fr/chcp/index.php?id=1580</link>
In this book, Françoise Vergès outlines the topography of a critical testing of the Western museum model, with a view to its decolonization. Reading it here with an aim for agonistic, at least three operations, contributing to its disarmament, can be identified and be used to depose this dispositive. First, the introduction of new entities within the space of veridiction of the European museum, a place of presence of beings, including racialized and precarious people, contained in relationships of subordination and domination, of visibility and invisibility. Then, attention is paid to the mechanisms of the destitution of the political power of works, and of the aestheticization of the decolonial, at the reason of neoliberal anti-racism, of a pacifying multiculturalism. Finally, the critique of the museum as operating in an regime of object, an epistemic framework inscribing dominated lives within the narrative apparatus of the dominant. </description>
