<title>Tristes techniques ? Pour une connaissance anthropologique des faits techniques. Entretien avec Andrew Feenberg</title>
      <link>http://revues.mshparisnord.fr/chcp/index.php?id=1000</link>
“For an Anthropological Knowledge of Technological Facts. Interview with Andrew Feenberg”In contrast to the naturalism and legalism of Habermasian thought, Andrew Feenberg has renewed the critical tradition through an examination of reality as it engages with practices, attentive to economic power relations and to the plasticity of technical objects. His concepts of “democratic intervention”, “the social life of reason” and the disengagement between technology and capitalism that his philosophy advocates is quite different from that of John Rawls’ The Theory of Justice (1971). In this interview with the philosopher Valérie Charolles, Andrew Feenberg returns to his work and to the “alternative modernity”, the title of his 1995 book, which we must now conceive in the light of global warming. </description>
